25 Years. Two Herniated Discs. One Method That Changed Everything.
I didn't build this method in a classroom. I built it in my own body.
I've been in fitness for 25 years. Not as a hobbyist — as someone who went deep into human structure, movement mechanics, and what actually makes a body change shape and stay out of pain.
And then my own body broke down anyway.
Two cervical disc tears. An ACL strain so severe the doctors assumed it was a full rupture. Severe GI inflammation that landed me in the ER. For years I was doing everything a fitness professional is supposed to do, and my body was holding so much tension — structural, mechanical, emotional — that it eventually had nowhere left to put it.
That's when I started understanding what I'd been missing.
Misaligned joints don't just cause pain. They change the entire shape of your body. When your hips, spine, feet, and shoulders aren't stacked the way they're designed to be, your muscles can't fire the way they're designed to. They compensate. They guard. They hold. And no matter how hard you train, the shape you're working toward stays just out of reach — because the structure underneath it isn't set up to receive it.
I rebuilt my own body from the inside out using what's now the Lauren Saracione Method — corrective exercise to restore alignment, corrective bodybuilding to build the shape your newly aligned structure is capable of creating. The one that fills out your shoulders and glutes and tapers your waist, not because you chased it, but because your body finally moved the way it was built to.
Today I train women at USA Gym in Tujunga or in your home within a 10 mile radius of USA Gym. I've worked with bodies that doctors gave up on, bodies that had tried every program and plateaued, bodies that were in chronic pain, bodies that just wanted to feel undeniably hot and had no idea that their skeleton was the thing standing in the way.
If any of that sounds like yours, you're in the right place.
